Join the Central NY Regional Team to learn how to take your swine production to the next level!

Sessions are:

Thursdays, Feb 5 & 19, March 5 & 19, and April 2

6:30 – 8pm EST each session

$10 per session or $40 for all 5 sessions

For those interested in starting a swine production, and those who are already involved in swine production.

Topics include:

  • Week 1: Managing breeding and birthing in a pig operation
  • Week 2: Providing pigs with a balanced and nutritious diet
  • Week 3: Observe all animals for signs of illness and monitor their appetite
  • Week 4: Inspecting and pricing pigs for purchase
  • Week 5: Informal conversation temporary and permanent fencing and infrastructure for pig operations
