District Public Presentations & Horse Communications

After participating in the Madison County 4-H Public Presentations, many youth have the exciting opportunity to advance to the 4-H District Public Presentations! District Public Presentations give 4-H members the chance to share their research, knowledge, and communication skills with a wider audience and judges from across our region.

Youth must first take part in their county Public Presentation event, where they prepare and deliver a speech, demonstration, or illustrated talk on a topic they are passionate about. Results from the county level determine who will move on to represent Madison County at the district level.

At the District Public Presentations, 4-H members will:

• Present to a panel of judges who provide positive, constructive feedback
• Build confidence in public speaking and presentation skills
• Connect with other youth from neighboring counties
• Celebrate what they’ve learned and accomplished through 4-H

Whether you’re presenting for the first time or advancing to district, Public Presentations help you grow your voice, leadership, and ability to share what matters to you. We are so proud of our youth who take this next step and represent Madison County!
