    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
    • Prepare financial reports and assist with audits

Summer Garden Educator

The Summer Garden Educator is responsible for coordinating and implementing CCE Madison’s Teaching Garden program for Summer 2025, including garden management, coordinating and teaching education events, and reporting. This position will work closely with the Summer Garden Intern, Master Gardener Volunteer Coordinator, and Master Gardener Volunteers.

Environment & Nature Internship

Cornell Cooperative Extension Madison County is hiring an Environment & Nature Intern to support youth and adult environmental education programming this summer.

  • Youth Programming Support 
    • Plan and implement summer nature programs for youth
    • Support outreach at events like the County Fair and Open Farm Day
    • Assist with tabling and community engagement
  • Adult Environmental Education
    • Assist with research, surveys, and program evaluation
    • Support written and verbal communication efforts
    • Help develop and deliver educational content
  • Ideal Candidate
    • Studying environmental science, biology, botany, or related fields
    • Strong communication skills
    • Team-oriented and independently motivated
    • Passion for community impact and nonprofit work
