Each July, the Madison County Fair in Brookfield, New York brings together community, agriculture, and family fun for a week of exciting events and timeless fair traditions. In 2026, the fair runs from July 30-August 2, offering something for everyone... classic midway rides, livestock shows, agricultural exhibits, live entertainment, hands-on educational demonstrations, and delicious fair food!
A highlight of the fair is the opportunity it provides 4-H members to showcase the projects they’ve worked on throughout the year. Youth from across the county exhibit their agricultural and creative projects - from livestock and animal science to baked goods and crafts - gaining confidence, experience, and recognition for their hard work. The fair is an important part of the 4-H experience, celebrating youth achievement and community involvement.
