The Madison County 4-H Public Presentations event is a long-standing 4-H tradition and a wonderful opportunity for youth to build confidence, develop communication skills, and share what they’ve learned.
During Public Presentations, 4-H members prepare and deliver a speech, demonstration, or illustrated talk on a topic they are passionate about. Youth are evaluated by supportive judges who provide positive, constructive feedback to help them grow and strengthen their skills.
Participating in County Public Presentations helps youth:
For many members, this event also serves as the first step toward advancing to District Public Presentations.
Whether it’s your first time presenting or you’re a seasoned speaker, Public Presentations are a meaningful way to challenge yourself, celebrate your hard work, and grow through 4-H.
