DEC Pesticide Applicator Exam

In order to sit for this exam, you must fill out the form (PDF) below, print it, and mail it with a check for $100 (payable to NYSDEC) to:

They must receive your registration by April 12th. (So you will need to mail it in advance enough to reach them in time!) Only preregistered candidates will be able to take the exam.

Please arrive at the Ag Center at CCE Madison County no later than 9:45am on the day of the exam.

The Core exam is closed-book. If you are taking a category exam, that is open-book. To purchase either a Core or Category manual, call The Cornell Store to order: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm (844) 688-7620.
