Georgia Walker joined Cornell Cooperative Extension of Madison County (CCE MC) on February, 2025. With a diverse background in office management and administration, she is dedicated to supporting CCE MC’s mission of fostering economic vitality, ecological sustainability, and social well-being to help local communities thrive.

Passionate about ecological stewardship, Georgia has studied Horticulture through Oregon State University and holds a Permaculture Design Certificate. She and her husband, Brian Walker, aim to develop their property into a Permaculture education center and holistic wellness retreat. A lifelong learner, Georgia is fascinated by trees and corvids. In addition, she is a certified Yoga instructor and offers classes at both her private studio in Earlville, as well as Colgate University. Together with her husband, a local acupuncturist, she shares a strong commitment to holistic health and well-being.
