Basic Livestock Production Workshop

CNY Livestock Specialist, Ashley McFarland, will lead a hands-on training covering

practiced animal techniques using our models, along with foundational animal husbandry

principles for goats, sheep, swine, and beef cattle.

Participants will learn and practice skills such as castration, ear notching, and other essential

livestock management techniques. The goal is to give participants practical, real-world

experience while building confidence in basic livestock handling and care.
