Join Hamilton Public Library, Colgate Community Garden, and Cornell Cooperative Extension Madison County to celebrate the grand opening of Hamilton Public Seed Library!

Come learn about Hamilton Public Library and Colgate Community Garden’s new Seed Library, how it works, and how you can check out seeds for your garden!

We will also have a short workshop on building your garden’s soil health, covering how to test, assess, and build soil. CCE will bring soil testing boxes and forms and demo some cool hands-on tests you can do at home. Attendees are welcome to bring past soil tests and learn how to choose amendments to build your soil (and make a great home for your “borrowed” seeds to thrive).
