  • Saturday, March 1, 2025, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Join an important cause by learning how to identify and report Hemlock Wolly Adelgid activity. This program will give you the tools you need to play a role in the statewide tracking of this invasive species as it threatens to disrupt the New York State ecosystem by wiping out the Hemlock population.

The first portion of the program will be held indoors. It will include an educational presentation and an introduction to using the reporting tool iMapInvasives. Setting up your iMapInvasives account prior to the event will be helpful, please reach out if you would like assistance doing this beforehand. Hands-on learning will also take place by visiting a hemlock stand a short walk from the building, where you can practice your identification skills and the use of the reporting platform.
