  • Monday, February 12, 2024, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

NAP - Non-Insured Crop Disaster Assistance Program from the USDA Farm Service Agency. NAP provides financial assistance to producers of non-insurable crops to protect against natural disasters that result in lower yields or crop losses or prevents crop planting. To qualify for assistance, covered crop losses must occur as a result of an eligible cause of loss during the coverage period and directly cause, accelerate, or exacerbate destruction or deterioration of the eligible crop as determined by the county committee. Join us for this free webinar where we'll be answering:

  • What does NAP Cover?
  • What is a Coverage Period?
  • What is a Coverage Level?
  • What is an Approved Yield?
  • How are Payments calculated?
  • How do I report my acreage?
  • How do I report my production?
  • How do I file a notice of loss?
  • How do I apply for Payment?
  • Our featured speaker will be Sandra Scott, County Executive Director with Farm Service Agency. For questions, or with assistance in registering, please contact Nicole Tommell (nt375@cornell.edu) or Katelyn Walley (kaw249@cornell.edu).
