Are you considering starting in maple or scaling up your syrup operation? Are you thinking about how to best plan and prepare for your mapling future? Join us at Many Maples Farm in Georgetown, NY, to learn from farmer and maple producer Pete Walrod.

Pete will share an overview of their production process from tree to table, including a tour of the facility (and weather depending, a look at the trees). He will talk about the basics of producing at scale, considerations before making the decision to expand into maple production, and some of the opportunities and challenges of the changing maple industry. As a family-focused, multi-generational farm, Pete will also share how their family operation evolved and adapted around the skills and interests of each generation. There will be time for questions.
