Open Farm Day

Open Farm Day is an annual free event in Madison County where you can visit local farms, meet farmers and animals, and learn about agriculture. It's a fun and educational day celebrating our vibrant farming community!

When is Open Farm Day? 

Open Farm Day is always on the last Saturday in July. In 2025, that means it is on July 26, 2025. Follow the event on Facebook and Instagram for more details in the next few months!

Sponsors are an essential part of making Open Farm Day a success!

Each year Open Farm Day, which attracts around 5,000 visitors from 22 states to tour Madison County farms. This great event is kept free and open to the public by the generous sponsorship of farm and community organizations. 

Open Farm Day registration is now open for 2025. As an inclusive event, any kind of farm operation in Madison County is welcome to participate. Participation does require some commitments on the part of farms. We encourage all farms to carefully read through and consider participation requirements before deciding whether or not taking part in Open Farm Day is a good fit for their farm. If you have any questions or concerns regarding participation requirements or Open Farm Day policies, please do not hesitate to contact us.
