DESCRIPTION:Knapweed has become a problem in NY. Whether you're a grazier, a hay producer, or a grassfed dairy producer, you've no doubt seen this plant, and you've probably seen it become more and more common in your hayfields and pastures. Join Cornell researchers and your fellow farmers as we take a walk through two of our field trial plots, where we'll see how soil fertility and cutting frequency/timing affect forage biomass production and knapweed competition. What worked well? What didn't?
